Dr Marion Andrew is a specialist anaesthetist and clinical hypnotherapist.  She has had over 25 years experience in anaesthesia and treatment of acute pain in obstetrics, paediatrics and the general adult population.

​She has extensive experience in the practice of hypnotherapy and involvement in clinical research into hypnotherapy. She is a member of the Australian Society of Hypnosis.

Dr Tiong Cheng (TC) Sia

General & Colorectal Surgeon 

​ TC is a Staff Specialist at FMC and has private practices at Flinders Private Hospital and Ashford Hospital. He operates publically at Mt Barker Hospital. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the College of Medicine and Public Health, Flinders University, and supervises candidates of higher degrees in Surgery/Physiology.  

TC has subspecialty expertise in minimally invasive / laparoscopic (keyhole) colorectal surgery, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) including Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis, complex pelvic surgery and proctology, including haemorrhoid surgery, perianal fistula disease and pilonidal disease.

He offers a broad range of General Surgical procedures including laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) and laparoscopic hernia repair amongst many others. He is GESA accredited for endoscopic procedures and is involved in cancer screening through the National Bowel Cancer Screening Programme.

Obstetric Physician

Erin Clark is currently employed as a senior staff specialist in Obstetric Medicine at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide, and also works privately as a General and Obstetric Physician.

She is actively involved in post-graduate teaching programs for medical, midwifery and allied health professionals, and has a long-standing interest in maternal cardiac and haematological conditions.

General & Bariatric Surgeon 

Dr Balalis is a specialised Bariatric (Weight Loss) Surgeon who also offers non-surgical approaches to weight loss, including diet, medication and lifestyle support as well as the placement of Allurion Gastric Balloons.

He is, to date, the only accredited Allurion Clinician in South Australia and has performed more Allurion Gastric Balloon placements than any other practitioner in the country.

Though he is the first to admit his true passion lies in supporting people with their weight loss journeys, Dr Balalis is an experienced and multi-faceted surgeon with various specialties, including upper gastrointestinal and general surgery.

He is extensively trained within and outside Australia, frequently publishing peer-reviewed journals, lecturing at the University of Adelaide and participating in numerous industry bodies and associations, ensuring his skills and practice evolve to reflect the latest international standards and industry insights.

He has completed a Masters of Philosophy (Surgery) in Oesophageal Cancer, received multiple fellowships and most recently was honoured to receive a travel scholarship, enabling him to further his robotic oesophageal surgery training in the Netherlands.

Dr Janina Kaczmarczyk

FRACS ANZHPBA

General and Hepatobiliary surgeon

After completing her science degree at the University of Maryland, USA she returned to Australia to complete her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Sydney in 2005. ​ Janina then moved to Adelaide to complete her Australian Surgical Educational Training with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) and went on to successfully acquire her fellowship in General Surgery (FRACS) in 2015. ​

Thereafter, Janina's main interest has been focused on Hepatic, Pancreatic and Biliary Surgery. She completed her training with the Australian and New Zealand Hepatic, Pancreatic and Biliary Association (ANZHPBA). She carried out her training in Australia, The United Kingdom (UK) and France and completed her Hepatobiliary surgical training in Europe. That involved spending twelve months focusing on laparoscopic (Keyhole) liver and pancreatic surgery at one of the world's most renowned hospitals in the field, Southampton University Hospital, UK. ​

Janina also completed a master’s degree in Minimally Invasive Surgery with the University of Adelaide in 2018.   She returned to South Australia to start in private practice in Adelaide, along with her public commitments at Flinders Medical Centre.
