Dr Heather Waterfall

BApSci (Med Rad) MBBS (Hons) FRANZCOG

Dr Waterfall is a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist, providing care for women through all stages of their life, including pre-conception, through pregnancy, childbirth and postnatally, as well as through and after menopause. 

Her areas of expertise include pregnancy management, abnormal cervical screens/colposcopy, pelvic pain, endometriosis, contraception, abnormal bleeding and menopause management. She offers total laparoscopic hysterectomy.

Having completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland, Dr Waterfall moved to Adelaide for her obstetrics/gynaecology training, spending time at the Lyell McEwin, Women’s and Children’s, Royal Adelaide and Queen Elizabeth hospitals. Her final two years of training focused on urogynaecology, endometriosis and advanced laparoscopy, including total laparoscopic hysterectomy.

Dr Waterfall is committed to lifelong learning and teaching, she sits on the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) council and is a member of the Education and Assessment subcommittee, she is also the RANZCOG Diploma written examination coordinator.

Dr Waterfall is passionate about all aspects of women’s health and is excited to be joining the team at Mt Barker, expanding the services that are available to women in the Adelaide Hills and surrounds. She aims to provide expert individualised care to all women.

Dr Melanie Johnson


Dr Melanie Johnson is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist providing expert care for women through multiple stages of their lives from adolescence through to menopause.  All of Dr Johnson’s specialist training has been completed in South Australia and she is proud to offer the women of the Adelaide Hills a thorough and compassionate service that they previously may have needed to travel for.


Dr Johnson provides comprehensive pregnancy care for both low and higher risk pregnancies and can offer deliveries at Mt Barker Hospital, Burnside Hospital or the Women’s and Children’s Hospital for those pregnancies that require tertiary services.  


Operating at Mt Barker Hospital, Stirling District Hospital, Burnside Hospital and the Women’s and Children’s Hospital Dr Johnson is trained in advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery including endometriosis management and total laparoscopic hysterectomy.   In addition, Dr Johnson is able to offer a range of urogynaecology procedures for managing incontinence and prolapse.  


Dr Johnson proudly serves as a medical officer in the Royal Australian Army Reserves.

Jen Watkins

B.Mid, BA, Adv Dip CBE.


Jen Watkins is a Registered Midwife and qualified Childbirth and Parenting Educator.


With more than twenty years of experience, Jen has a special interest in birth, breastfeeding and parenting education and support, and is passionate about making the journey through pregnancy, birth and into parenting a positive one.  She also works as a midwife at Mt Barker Hospital across all areas of maternity and neonatal care and providing care to gynaecology clients after surgery.


When not working as a midwife, you might find her with her family at a local winery or riding her mountain bike through the beautiful Adelaide Hills.

Jen works alongside Dr Waterfall and Dr Johnson, providing pregnancy and postnatal care and assistance across the clinic. She can also help with pregnancy preparation and breastfeeding support.

Tracy Magor-Weyland

Tracy is a masters qualified women's health physiotherapist.  Tracy graduated as a Physiotherapist from the University of South Australia in 1992.  She has over 15 years experience in both the public and private system working with women of all ages.  

Tracy has spent time in regional and metropolitan hospitals and private practice as well as 5 years spent working in the USA.  She brings a breadth and depth of experience in women's health to the Adelaide Hills.  

Tracy lives locally and spends her time being an active part of her three children's various sporting pursuits.  

Natalie Trim

Natalie graduated from University of South Australia and broadened her practice working within the adult disability sector and in general musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

With a passion for women’s health and pelvic floor physiotherapy Natalie completed postgraduate study via University of Melbourne, and continues to attend ongoing education courses in this specialty area. She has also completed postgraduate certifications in Pilates, pregnancy and post-natal exercise.


Natalie runs small group classes including; ‘Beautiful Bumps’ (pregnancy), ‘Mums and Bubs’ (post-natal), ‘Pelvic Floor Bootcamp’ (incontinence/ pelvic organ prolapse), ‘Pelvic Rebalance and Relaxation’ (persistent pelvic pain conditions), and antenatal education.


Natalie lives locally in the Adelaide Hills with her young family and is passionate about education, rehabilitation and self-empowerment of people through the lifespan.

Dr Angie Wilcocks

B. Health Sc. (Hons Psych)., M. Psych (Couns)., PhD.


Dr Angie Willcocks is a psychologist with particular interest and expertise in working with pregnant women and new parents, supporting them as they negotiate the often-challenging time of becoming a parent. Angie has a particular interest in lifestyle approaches to mental health and wellness. Angie also co-authored the popular book 'The Sensible Sleep Solution: A guide to your baby's sleep in the first year', with Dr. Sarah Blunden.  For more information see

Lara Nowland


Lara provides consultations for women and couples (both in-person and via Skype). She has extensive experience in the area of women's health including fertility health, PCOS, endometriosis, pregnancy nutrition, weight concerns, digestive health, and mental health. Dr Marion Andrew

MBCHB, FANZCA, Dip Clinical Hypnosis


Dr Marion Andrew is a specialist anaesthetist and clinical hypnotherapist.  She has had over 25 years experience in anaesthesia and treatment of acute pain in obstetrics, paediatrics and the general adult population.

She has extensive experience in the practice of hypnotherapy and involvement in clinical research into hypnotherapy. She is a member of the Australian Society of Hypnosis. 

Dr Tiong Cheng (TC) Sia



Consultant General & Colorectal Surgeon 

​ 2021 sees Dr Sia start consulting in the Adelaide Hills and operating at Mt Barker Hospital.  TC is a Staff Specialist at FMC and has private practices at Flinders Private Hospital and Ashford Hospital. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the College of Medicine and Public Health, Flinders University, and supervises candidates of higher degrees in Surgery/Physiology.  

TC has subspecialty expertise in minimally invasive / laparoscopic (keyhole) colorectal surgery, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) including Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis, complex pelvic surgery and proctology, including haemorrhoid surgery, perianal fistula disease and pilonidal disease.


He offers a broad range of General Surgical procedures including laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) and laparoscopic hernia repair amongst many others. He is GESA accredited for endoscopic procedures and is involved in cancer screening through the National Bowel Cancer Screening Programme.
